It didn’t matter which way up I looked at myself re running my business, I wasn’t getting anywhere.

The practical side was the easy bit. I was finding that the dyslexia I had coped with all my life was tripping me up with my capabilities of learning the Foot Health terminology and creating new organisational skills. My Admin was a mess.

I had brought books on how to run a successful business and even read them page to page and still it wasn’t making sense and there was no progress.

Was I doomed to be a slave to my work working 14 hours a day for only 6 hours earning capacity because I just didn’t know how to implement another way.

Then Belinda launched her Business of helping and supporting fellow Foot Health Practitioners

Initially I was sceptical, after all I had read the books!

I signed up and with bated breath had my first 1:1

I could see from the notes I had written it was going to be a challenge.

I eagerly wrote down the bullet pointers nodding enthusiastically at the screen of our Zoom meeting.

On reflection it was a huge to do list but you really can’t eat an entire elephant all at once – break it apart down, make the tasks smaller.

Have a plan, action it and execute it bit by bit.

Just shy of 3 months with Belinda’s support. I am now in control of my business and am working smarter not harder.

Belinda has a wealth of self-employed business knowledge. Belinda’s ability to encourage and point you in an effective work smarter not harder direction is a credit to her as well as her understanding of how the dyslexia mind operates.

Finally I feel in control because I am in control. I believed I could turn my business around and not feel overwhelmed and I have – nothing is impossible with vision.

I just needed a Belinda to show me how.
